CLIMBING COACHING

Ash has been working with climbers, specifically boulder’s performance since 2017.

“My focus as a climbing coach is to expand and improve a climbers movement abilities, add more skills to their toolbox. Through education climbers can use these tools to grow faster as climbers.”

Over the past few years he has worked with climbers from V0 to V10 and with the 2018 Open B Female National Champion and 2019 Youth B Female WA State Champion.

Currently the Head Coach for Portside Boulders and Axis Coaching, his experience is growing fast and he is dedicated to helping you climb better and harder.

STRENGTH + MOVEMENT COACHING

Deb has recently started working with Ash to develop climber specific training and injury prevention programs she has quickly transferred her skills as a Strength and Movement coach to the athletes needs for climbing.

A Strong First certified kettlebell instructor and a qualified Animal Flow coach has given Deb all the tools to unlock better performance for everyday athletes and climbers alike.

Moving well, then reinforcing with strength training are the foundations for not only performance but for injury prevention too.

While not a climber herself this allows her the objectivity to be able to chase climbing performance when required but also to focus on whole body functional improvement when necessary, you need physical health before performance.
